The 4-Rex is a unique trading application. Originally the 4-Rex was to replace the Forex Raptor HFT trading system until a decision was made to re-release Forex Raptor as Forex Raptor Freeware, the free and working version of Forex Raptor. 4-Rex then reverted  back to the design phase and now emerges as the result, more robust trading application. While other competitive trading application uses a single algorithm, the REX gives the trader (you) a choice of which strategy to implement of the selected FDM/Currency session. The strategies implemented are the well known strategies with time tested results. Best of all, you can implement multiple strategies on the same Metatrader chart  session without having to open additional charts within Metatrader.

What is the difference between 4-Rex Strategies and Metatrader Indicators & Expert Advisors?

You cannot execute/send trades from Metatrader Indicators directly, you have use a custom mechanism, and though you can invoke indicators from Expert Advisors, the functionality is limited and may not produce the results you are seeking. This leaves the only option to convert an Indicator into EA-compliant code.

The 4-REX allows you to combine both your Indicator and Expert Advisor into a single package as a whole strategy. You are free to concentrate on your strategy and not the interface communication to and from the FDM’s trading platform whether Metatrader or FIX-based. The 4-REX includes an extensive Technical Analysis/Indicator library which can be invoke from your custom UDF 4-Rex Strategy as well as all FDM-Currency session information is passed to your Strategy.
